AAC Clyde Space welcomes Bonnier Capital as new largest shareholder
AAC Clyde Space welcomes Bonnier Capital as a new major owner through a strategic investment of up to SEK 140 million. Through the transaction, Bonnier Capital is set to become the company’s largest shareholder and strengthen AAC Clyde Space’s long-term ownership base.
The investment strengthens AAC Clyde Space’s ability to deliver on its strategy in a market where demand for space-based intelligence continues to grow. The proceeds will support expanded satellite capacity for maritime data services and fully finance the company’s commitment to INFLECION, its programme for next-generation maritime intelligence. The investment also provides increased financial resilience to support continued growth.
“With strengthened financing and a committed owner, we can accelerate the delivery of key programmes. This includes adding satellite capacity to meet strong demand for maritime data services and advancing INFLECION, the next generation of space-based maritime intelligence. The investment gives us the stability and scale to build both near-term capability and future services that provide customers with timely, high-quality space-based intelligence,” says Luis Gomes, CEO of AAC Clyde Space.
Bonnier Capital is the investment arm of the Bonnier Group, a family-owned business group based in the Nordic region with more than 200 years of experience in long-term ownership. Bonnier Capital invests with a long-term perspective and takes an active ownership approach, contributing capital, governance experience and strategic support.
The investment is structured in three parts. The first part is completed immediately through a directed share issue. The second part is planned to be completed following approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting in early January 2026. As Bonnier Capital’s ownership will exceed 10 percent, this part of the investment is also subject to a standard review by the Swedish Inspectorate for Strategic Products (ISP). In addition, Bonnier Capital has received warrants that allow for a potential further investment at a later stage.
