Systems Engineer – Gothenburg

About this role:

We are looking for 3 Systems Engineer to join our team, each will have a different expertise.  You will either have 1) RF expertise 2) be able to explore innovative leads with customers or 3) ready for development into a Systems role.

These roles are essential to ensure our team delivers cutting-edge, high-performance electronics hardware and sensors for delivering quality projects and products to our customers.  All hires will work from our Gothenburg site where occasional hybrid working is possible.

You will be passionate and responsible for the technical development during the development process, including requirements specification for design and verification.  You will be involved in a dynamic, fast paced working environment with exciting projects and challenging schedules.  You will not be afraid of challenges and happy to get involved!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver work tasks and assignments in accordance with required standards and compliance requirements
  • Lead technical development throughout the projects including ensure we meet timescales, agreed project deliveries and budget
  • Motivate and technically lead teams to ensure a high level of performance and delivery
  • Resolve any conflicts between contractual obligations and “wants” of the customer/contractor
  • Collecting ideas from customers, stakeholders and colleagues to inform our technology developments
  • Discuss and form new products and projects
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and their expectations to ensure their continued support

Skills required:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
  • Either have RF expertise, be able to explore innovative leads with customers, or be early career looking for development to systems
  • Evidence of successfully resolving technical issues
  • Evident industry experience of applying systems engineering to products and applications
  • Solid understanding of hardware/software product life cycle as appropriate to specialisation
  • Excellent customer, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the drive to complete tasks on schedule
  • Able to interpret technical requirements and ideas
  • Ability to drive good decisions under highly demanding, dynamic environment
  • Ability to organise self and prioritise workload of multiple projects in dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft software
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and written

Skills desired:

  • Previous experience working with small/medium sized companies
