Project Coordinator – Glasgow

About this Project Coordinator role:

The role is responsible for administrative support to the Projects team involving a range of activities, aligning on the execution of projects and associated requirements across the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Management activities for multiple projects with the varying activities and resource management to expected standards and timescales
  • Consult with colleagues to develop a work plan
  • Organise and maintain project data, reporting and communicating on any project progress-related activities with relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise with colleagues and teams to discuss project challenges and track mitigating actions
  • Produce any required scheduled analysis and/or deliverables
  • Distribute monthly reports, presentations, procedures, proposals and other general document requirements
  • Support development and maintenance of PMO forms, processes and other documentation
  • Coordinate with third party vendors and subcontractors to support project requirements
  • Assist in closing out projects
  • Support the team as required

Skills required:

  • Evident industry experience of project coordination and/or administration
  • Proven track record and experience in project support, planning and scheduling
  • Working knowledge of document control systems and project design
  • Ability to write professional reports and business correspondence
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer focus
  • The ability to work to meet tight deadlines and progress several different projects in parallel
  • Able to manage time, work within a team and work autonomously when required
  • Uses initiative and works towards finding solutions
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written

Skills desired:

  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems
  • Ability to understand, examine and interpret technical procedures
