Office Manager – Uppsala

About this role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and wants to become our Office Manager in Uppsala, the head office of AAC Clyde Space. You will become part of a close-knit and committed team where you will have a broad role and, not least, get an opportunity to be part of an international company in the space industry.

In the role of Office Manager, you will be part of the Finance team. You will report to the Group Accounting Manager and as we are an international group, it is important that you are comfortable with the English language. The position is an administrative role on site where you maintain the office routines. For example everything from office-related purchases to contact with suppliers, etc. that affect the premises. You will document routines and processes, maintain our records, handle receipts and other similar responsibilities. In addition, preparing accounts payable and simpler financial tasks such as compiling various reports in Excel. You will have a broad role and be the link between finance and operations.

Given the nature of the role, it is based full-time on the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management, office purchasing and administration
  • Responsible for the premises, contact with suppliers, e.g. cleaning, fruit, alarm
  • Accounts payable, compilation of supporting documents, registration, posting
  • Register maintenance and management, handling receipts and work materials
  • Basic IT-administration
  • Develop documentation for routines and processes
  • Other administrative duties

Skills required:

  • Have studied at upper secondary level
  • Are passionate about administration and have an interest in economics
  • A doer who takes matters into account and finds solutions
  • Ability to organise self and prioritise workload in dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Has an eye for detail and social skills, ensuring accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a multicultural team
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, verbal and written

Skills desired:

  • Have previous experience working in the business system Jeeves or similar
  • Have an interest in IT/computers
  • Structured, positive and flexible
  • Previous experience working with small/medium sized companies
