
Financial Accountant – Gothenburg
About this role:
We are looking for a finance professional to join our team. You will be involved in a dynamic, fast paced working environment with exciting projects and challenging schedules while adding value to our current ways of working.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking to progress or continue their career in finance in the New Space Industry. You will be responsible for various financial activities such as accounting, purchasing, payments, freights, record keeping, documentation as well as handling supplier invoices.
The Omnisys team is part of AAC Clyde Space Group which delivers cutting-edge, high-performance electronics hardware and sensors for delivering quality projects and products to our customers. You will be based in our Gothenburg site where occasional hybrid working is possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop documentation for routines and processes
- Ensure record keeping is maintained on a timely and accurate basis
- Assist in financial controls relating to payments and projects
- Coordinate with the team regarding required purchases
- Talking to freight suppliers to ensure compliance with import and export control
- Alternative month of preparing information for payroll processing
- Wide variety of administration activities including HR-related, supply, safety and other operational areas
Skills required:
- Relevant degree in finance or equivalent work experience
- Familiar with Swedish financial taxes, laws and auditing
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a multicultural team
- Demonstrates ownership of problems and works towards finding solutions
- Meticulous nature with attention to detail
- Ability to organise self and prioritise workload in dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft software
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbally
Skills desired:
- Previous experience working with small/medium sized companies
